Brazil, Argentina and France may be all favourites to win the 2022 FIFA World Cup, but anything can happen in the game of football and Germany is not the team that will let the World Cup go easily.
Germany is one of the strong contenders to win the 2022 title once again, forgetting their 2018 World Cup performance.
Following Germany’s performance at Euro 2020, former head coach Joachim Low decided to step down after 16 years in 2021 and was replaced by former Bayern Munich manager Hansi Flick.
Germany has been undefeated in their 10 matches under the supervision of head coach Flick, but Coach Flick’s real test will be in the 2022 World Cup.

Germany Team Strengths and Weaknesses
The Neuer-Kimich-Muller spine, which includes Antonio Rudiger, will support the German defence, and Flick’s ability to control central areas may be crucial.
Kimmich will be partnered in midfield by Manchester City star Ilkay Gundogan, with Leon Goretzka also being added should Germany require an extra midfielder.
Additionally, young players from Germany like Jamal Musiala and Karim Adeyemi are making their way up the ranks. Many players from Germany are performing very well for their individual clubs. Flick will hope that these players will continue to do the same for their international team.
The weakness of the German team is their left back position as none of Günter, Raum and Hofmann have much experience playing in this position. Now it has to be seen how flick solves this problem.
Germany World Cup Group E Schedule
Germany will start the World Cup with a FIFA ranking of 11. The other teams in Group E along with Germany are 2010 winner Spain and Costa Rica along with Asian football stalwart Japan.
